* FOR DISTRIBUTION AND PRINTING *
The goal for challenge entrants is to design a logo for the Colorado Youth Career Fair along with a banner image utilizing the logo design. A few examples of other education organization logos are at the bottom.
The challenge is open to secondary and postsecondary CTE students in design courses. Students may enter as individuals or as teams of up to three (3) people (please only submit one application per team). All team members must be enrolled as students in an educational institution during the semester/term in which they contribute to the design. Entrants are permitted to work in groups; however, only one (1) gift card prize will be awarded for the first place entry.
A primary student contact will be requested and will receive the prize for the team. Each entry must be entirely the original work of the persons identified in the entry. The challenge is not open to any persons employed, past or present, as a professional designer.
Educators may advise students, but should not take on a significant role in developing the designs.
Individuals and teams should submit their entries by clicking on the button at the top of this page. Submissions are due by February 4, 2022. There is no fee to enter the challenge.
Designs will be reviewed by AIGA Colorado design professionals to ensure they meet design specs. CYCF will select the winner. The winner will be notified February 8, 2022. If selected, there may be final design edits requested on February 8 and edits will need to be completed by February 14, 2022. The winner will be announced on the CYCF website on February 16, 2022.
